2. Accounts
Users must provide accurate account information, keep login details secure and use only accounts they are authorised to use. Account access may depend on phone verification, identity checks, document review or other security controls.
3. Rider responsibilities
Riders must provide accurate pickup and destination information, be ready at pickup, treat Drivers respectfully, follow safety prompts, pay applicable charges, avoid unlawful conduct and report concerns through support or safety channels.
4. Driver responsibilities
Drivers must comply with applicable law, licensing and platform rules; maintain accurate profile, licence, PrDP where required, vehicle and banking information; use approved vehicles only; drive safely; treat Riders respectfully; and avoid discrimination, harassment, substance abuse, account sharing or unsafe conduct.
5. Driver and Vehicle verification
Driver and Vehicle participation may require identity, licence, vehicle, roadworthy, insurance, inspection or other evidence. Approval remains subject to MzansiGo review and may be suspended or withdrawn where requirements are not met.
6. Pickup safety verification
The pickup safety flow may include vehicle registration confirmation, Driver identity display, trip-specific QR or PIN verification and Rider/Driver confirmation before a trip begins. Users must not bypass safety prompts.
7. GoGuardian
GoGuardian is the MzansiGo safety experience for supported trips. It may include visible safety state, trusted-contact sharing and trip monitoring features where enabled. GoGuardian does not replace emergency services.
8. GoNow
GoNow supports on-demand trip requests where available. Riders submit pickup and destination details, review trip information and may be matched with an eligible Driver.
9. GoDaily
GoDaily supports planned commute and recurring trip concepts such as Home, Work or School travel, scheduled pickup times, reminders and planned Driver work where enabled.
10. GoSocial
GoSocial supports social and event travel concepts, including return planning and trusted-contact safety direction where enabled. Specific reservation features depend on product configuration.
11. GoStudent
GoStudent supports student-focused mobility concepts for verified students and group travel where enabled. Eligibility, discounts or group features are available only when approved and configured.
12. Pricing
MzansiGo aims to show clear trip pricing before booking. Public website information does not override the active in-app price shown for a specific trip.
13. VAT
Where VAT applies, Rider totals may include VAT. VAT treatment is handled according to applicable South African tax requirements and platform configuration.
14. Driver earnings
Drivers may see expected earnings before accepting a trip where supported. Driver earnings are calculated according to the active pricing and platform rules for the trip.
15. Driver wallet
Driver wallet and earnings views are platform records of completed trips, eligible earnings, payout status and adjustments where applicable. Payout timing may depend on payment-provider and verification requirements.
16. Scheduled reminders
Scheduled reminders may be provided for GoDaily or other planned trips. Users remain responsible for checking their app, device settings and trip status.
17. Plan My Day
Plan My Day helps Drivers view planned work and availability settings where enabled. It does not guarantee a specific number of trips or income.
18. Cancellations
Cancellations must be made through the app or approved support process. Fees, refunds or status outcomes depend on the active product rules, timing, trip state and applicable consumer rights.
19. Trip completion
A trip is completed when the platform records the completion state through the Driver/Rider workflow or approved operational process. Completion may trigger fare finalisation, receipts, Driver earnings and support records.
20. Payments
Payments may be processed through approved payment workflows and service providers. Users must not attempt to avoid payment, abuse payment methods or use unauthorised payment instruments.
21. Refunds and disputes
Refunds and disputes should be raised through MzansiGo support. Outcomes depend on trip records, payment records, applicable law, consumer rights and platform review.
22. Location and navigation
MzansiGo may use location and routing information for pickup, ETA, navigation, safety, trip tracking and support. Routes and ETAs are estimates and may be affected by traffic, road conditions, device accuracy and third-party map services.
23. Service availability
MzansiGo services may be limited by pilot areas, product readiness, Driver availability, vehicle eligibility, safety review, technical availability and operational approval. The website does not guarantee national or immediate availability.
24. Acceptable use
Users must not misuse the platform, submit false information, harass others, discriminate, threaten safety, interfere with systems, scrape data, reverse engineer the platform, commit fraud or use MzansiGo for unlawful activity.
25. Account suspension/termination
MzansiGo may suspend, restrict or terminate access where a user breaches these Terms, creates safety risk, submits false information, fails verification, abuses the platform or where required by law.
26. Intellectual property
MzansiGo names, logos, software, content, designs, workflows and brand assets belong to MzansiGo or its licensors. Users may not copy, misuse or represent MzansiGo branding without permission.
